Village leader catches burglars ‘red-handed’
Two alleged thieves are in police custody after they were nabbed in Kampong Speu province’s Thpong district on Monday while attempting to rob the house of a village chief. Police said the chief had arrived home and caught the two suspects breaking into his house. The chief said the suspects fled with a few items of his property, but dropped a mobile phone during their quick exit. The phone was given to police in the hope they would be able to trace it to the suspects. Koh Santepheap
